　　2, use some expressions to describe the changes of a neighborhood, e.g., nowhere is changing faster than ¡­. / in the past¡­/ used to/ but now, great changes have taken place/ another big change is that/ what¡¯s more¡­
　　♦ Ability objectives:
　　1. ¡°learning first and teaching second¡± by previewing and discovering the knowledge through completing certain tasks in the previewing case;

　　Step1, lead in the topic of great changes around Guoxing Avenue by presenting some pictures of its old look and some of its new look, and check the Ss¡¯ understanding of the main ideas of each paragraph in the passage Great Changes around Guoxing Avenue (a survey done by the teacher) in order to help the Ss make clear how the passage develop.

　　Stage3, brainstorming and discovering
