In 1955: born
When he was four years old: began studying piano
From 1978 till 1983: studied at the Central Conservatory of Music of China
After graduation: worked as a lecturer
In 1985: held a concert of his symphonies in Beijing
In 1986: His album Horizon appeared. His music was played at the First Contemporary Chinese Composers’ Festival in HongKong.
In November 1996: The group played with Italian musician at the Beijing International Jazz Festival.
Since1993: work part of the time in Beijing and part of the time in the US.
