　　Step 1 Welcome to the unit
　　T: Everyone wants to be healthy and attractive. Everyone wants to feel good and look good. Now please open your books and turn to page 41.Look at the four pictures and describe them.
　　S1:In the first picture, a girl is selecting clothes. She wants to buy a blouse that will make her look slimmer. She finally chooses a yellow blouse. She thinks the yellow blouse makes her lootiful and slimmer.  
　　S2: In Picture2, a boy is practicing weightlifting with all his energy. He thinks weightlifting can make him feel very strong and keep him healthy.
　　S3: In Picture3, a doctor is giving a girl some advice. The girl looks very tired and perhaps she is ill because of lacking sleep. The doctor tells her she must get enough sleep to stay healthy.
　　S4: In Picture4, a boy is eating a banana with an apple in the right hand. In his opinion, eating more fruit can make one feel better. As a saying goes, “An apple every day can keep a doctor away.”
　　T: You have done a good job.
　　Step 2 Discussion
　　T: Now please look at the pictures and discuss the questions below with your partner. Are they good –looking? Why or why not?
　　(Beautiful and healthy. too fat, too thin, confidence, beautiful clothes and good-looking appearance, handsome, strong, helpful.)
　　Let the students discuss about how to look good / how to lose weight / how to stay healthy?
　　Questions Possible answers：

　　Here, both the words“1ook”and "stay" are link verbs

　　2)表变化：become，grow．turn，go, get  
　　eg. get stressed, grow darrn yellow，go hungry／unpunished／crazy
　　3)表状态: remain，continue，stay．keep．prove, turn out
　　eg．turn out a success，prove useful，stay healthy, keep slim

　　动词-ing形式用作主语常表示比较抽象笼统的概念，谓语动词常用单数形式

　　3. Which do you think is more important, eating well or doing exercise?
　　1)这是一个双重疑问句，可用于该句型的动词有think, believe, suppose, guess 等，其句式结构为：
　　疑问词( what ,when, where, how, who……)+do you thinppose/believe/guess etc.+主语+谓语?
　　What do you think has happened to her?
　　When do you suppose he might come?
　　2)exercise [u] 锻炼， do/take exercise 做运动     [c] 练习
　　Every day he does lots of exercise.
　　Every day the students must do lots of exercises.
　　exercise （常用复）作“体操”讲   eg. do morning exercises 做早操
　　“exercise”还可以表示“ 演习”的意思。eg. a field exercise 野外演习
