　　Analysis of the teaching material
　　This lesson is about the school life of a newcomer to Senior High. The reading part presents us what a newcomer sees, and feels on the first day at Senior High. The contents of this module are so closely to the real life of the students that it will surely arouse their interest in the classroom activities. By studying this lesson , Students can get a general idea on how to express their feelings about their teachers , classes and the school life in English.
　　Analysis of the students 
　　The students have just entered the Senior High school. They can simply express their own thoughts with the knowledge they got in Junior School. They show great interest in their English study of Senior High . They are eager to get more information. However the teaching models in their Junior School can’t adapt their English study in Senior High school.
