　　Step1. Lead-in
　　T: Good morning, everyone.
　　Ss: Good morning, Miss Xu.
　　T: Than. Sit down, please. Today we will learn something about how to give a talk. First, let’s enjoy a video.
　　(Show the video to the class. It shows a girl making a speech in an English Speech Contest.)
　　T: So, after enjoying the video, do you think the girl speaks really good English?
　　Ss: Yes, she does.
　　T: The girl not only speaks very good English, but also makes a great talk. Do you want to be like her?
　　Ss: Yes.
　　T: Now, this period we will learn how to give a talk in English. Try your best, and you will also be excellent as she is.
　　Step2. Learning aim one —— How to give a talk
　　T: In this step, we will listen to a conversation, which helps us how to give a talk. Before we listen, please pay attention to these key information. Please loor books on page 52, part A.
　　(Show the four questions on the screen. Prepare the students for the listening.)
　　T: Ok, are you ready?
　　Ss: Yes.
　　T: Now, please listen to the tape carefully.
　　(Play the tape, and then check the answers with the whole class.)
　　T: All of you have done a good job. We see, Part A is just an introduction of the conversation. Next, we will listen to the tape again. Please look at Part B on page 53, and try to fill in the blanks with some details.
